St. John’s School, New Delhi was established in 1967 with a humble beginning in a rented
building at South Extension, New Delhi. The school is run and managed by 'The Delhi Mar Thoma
Church Society' (Reg. No. S-3030), a body registered under the Societies Registration Act.
In 1983 we got a land allotted from Delhi Development Authority at E- Block, Masjid Moth,
Greater Kailash-3. The School got shifted to the new campus in 1992 and got recognition in
2001-02.
The School is recognized by the Directorate of Education of the Government of National Capital
Territory, Delhi. It is an unaided Christian Minority School founded and functioning for
providing education to students of all communities in the nation, who wish to join us and excel
themselves. The medium of instruction is English. At present we have Classes beginning from
Nursery to VIII and our application for upgrading the school to the Secondary level is under
process and we expect to receive the order at any time.
We follow CBSE Syllabi along with suggestions given by NCERT time to time. We follow the text
books from NCERT and from the best publishers in the country. Apart from the regular subjects
we have special subjects like art and craft, drawing, music, different musical instruments etc.
The services of a well-qualified and experienced counsellor is available round the clock at the
school.
